Over the years, we have noticed some questions that our customers have asked on a consistent basis. Below are some of the questions they ask:

  • Does my monument need to be removed in order to inscribe it? 
  • No, it does not. We actually inscribe the monuments on location at the cemetery or wherever it may be. 


  • How long does it take to: 
  • Get an inscription done? 
  • 8-12 weeks to complete – there are many varying factors 
  • Get my monument made? 
  • It depends on the type of monument you get and the color. 
  • Weather is a huge factor in timing during winter & could cause delays. 
  • Permits can also cause delays.

 

  • Will I see what it looks like before it is inscribed? 
  • Yes, our draftsman will create a proof (a rendering of the stone/inscription) that shows what the stone/inscription will look like. We do not inscribe the monument unless you give us your approval via signature on the proof. 


  • What forms of payment do you take? 
  • Check
  • Credit Card
  • Zelle
  • Money Order
  • Cash Payment 


  • Who files the permit? 
  • We file the permits for you. 


  • Do I need the original deed? 
  • It depends on the cemetery – some do require it. 


  • Do I need to come into the office to design my monument? 
  • No – approximately 95% of our clients we deal with solely online through email, phone or videoconference. 


  • Can you match the existing lettering/fonts on my stone? 
  • Yes, in most cases we have the font in our digital system.  If it is not a standard font and not in our system, we can hand draw each letter to match what is existing on the monument. 


  • Do you design/create monuments and do cemetery lettering all year long? 
  • Yes, we work through the winter as long as there isn’t too much snow on the ground and the temperatures are not too severe. 


  • Do you do repairs to existing monuments? 
  • Yes, we do. Charges depend on the monument and the amount of damage that has been done. If you would like to see if we are able to repair your monument, feel free to email us a photo of the stone and the damage. 


  • Are you able to guide me in designing my monument? 
  • Yes, with over 30 years of experience in the monument business, we are able to help you choose and design the perfect monument for your loved one. 


  • When do I have to pay? 
  • It depends on what service you are receiving: 
  • Inscriptions, Repairs and Cleanings – paid in full at contract signing. 
  • Flush and Hickey Markers – pay half at contract signing and balance when the monument is complete. 
  • Full Size Monuments – Pay 1/3 at contract signing, 1/3 with the signed proof and final balance when your monument is complete. 
  • We are always willing to work with families with payment plans. 


  • What information do I need when I decide to create/purchase a monument? 
  • Things to think about when starting the process:
  • Cemetery info – i.e. location/plot/section #s 
  • Color of granite 
  • Design/images you want on the monument 
  • Lettering you want on the monument, i.e. endearment, phrase, bible verse, etc.
